Fraud checks and what they mean
Evidence for a reviewer, never a verdict.
PaperTotal can look for signs a document was edited or made up, such as handwriting on a printed total, editing software in a PDF, or wording that belongs on a specimen. Each check that fires states its reason and how sure it is.
A reviewer reads that on the document and decides what it means. People who add documents do not see it. A check never blocks a capture, and only a person can call a document fraud. A clean result is not a guarantee.
Someone who manages settings can turn signals on and off and change the thresholds under Settings, Fraud checks.
