When a forwarded email is not filed
Recent forwarded emails says what happened, and PaperTotal replies with the reason.
Available on: Every plan
Open Settings, Forwarding address and look under Recent forwarded emails. Each message shows one of these:
- Filed: it worked.
- Reading: it is still being read.
- Nothing to file: no file in it could be used, and its words held no receipt.
- Unknown sender: no account has verified the address it came from, or the forwarding address is no longer active.
- Limit reached: the workspace has no active plan, or this month's scans ran out.
- Refused: whoever sent it could not be proved, or it was an automatic message.
- Could not read: the message itself could not be read.
PaperTotal also replies by email, with a subject that starts Not filed and gives the reason, at most once a day for each reason, or once an hour for a refused file. Images in the body of a message are treated as logos unless nothing else in the message is a receipt.
