What each report status means

Draft, submitted, approved and the rest.

  • Draft: still being put together. Only a draft can be submitted.
  • Submitted: with an approver, who has not started on it.
  • Outstanding: with an approver, and part of the way through.
  • Approved: decided, and ready to be paid and posted.
  • Rejected: sent back with a reason. Reopen it to fix it and send it again.
  • Paid: the money is on its way, or the person has been paid back. Hover over the badge to see which: Marked as paid, Withdrawing or Confirmed.
  • Exported: it has gone to your books or out in a file.
  • Done: finished, with nothing left to do.

Where a workspace has no approval step, Close report finishes a report that needs nothing more. Someone who can export everything can use Mark as exported if it went out some other way.
